The Pisan Romanesque church dates back to 1150, and has been without a roof since August 1553 when it was set on fire by the Franco-Turks under the command of the pirate Dragut. Surrounded by a chestnut forest, only for one night, a luminous installation and a pictorial action, both possible only thanks to the participation of those present. The materials used, rigorously eco-sustainable, are: rice paper, cardboard, natural hemp twine, cotton fabric, clay and recycled wooden boxes. “Plebem” is the empathetic crowd that creates harmony along with nature and art.
